|Description||Pepperdine University in Malibu, California is seeking applications for a Senior Director, IT Admin & Client Services.
PURPOSE: Oversee and manage all business and administrative aspects of the IT operating, project and recharge departments including budgeting (budget planning, management, and analysis), financial operations (AP, purchasing, adherence to Finance and Accounting guidelines and applicable laws), personnel administration for a team of 80+ staff (new hires, adherence to HR guidelines and applicable laws), marketing and communication, IT contract management and asset management.
DUTIES: Manage the financial and business aspect of the IT recharge units including the IT billing accounts payable and accounts receivable accounts, billing budget, purchasing, accounting, cash flow and collections and relate operations; Work closely with the Chief Information Officer and the IT directors, this position is responsible for IT policy development and management, adherence to Pepperdine University standards and policies, provides general problem resolution and troubleshooting, and manages special projects as necessary; Guide the organizational structure aimed at providing a unified and streamlined customer experience; solutions structured around technology layers and service delivery; flexible resource pools to deliver these services, technologies and operational excellence; and consistency in its delivery approach through the use of common tools and processes; Ensure the mix of technology services offered by the central IT organization is appropriate to help the University fulfill its mission in the coming decades. Formulation short- and long- term plans by proactively reviewing and modifying services offerings to meet the ever changing needs. Supervises and works closely with the Director of Anytime Support, and Director of Technology and Learning to lead an integrated Client Services department, and researching an development of technology and learning tools, and managing centralized support activities consisting of the Help Desk, Anytime Support, and Technology Central across all Pepperdine campuses.; Uphold the University mission through work performed; and other duties as assigned.
