Title Development Associate - Member Relations Manager
Description The University of Texas at Austin is currently seeking applications for a Development Associate - Member Relations Manager.

Monthly salary $2,430 negotiable depending on qualifications.

Purpose of Position
Develop, implement, and manage the Texas Inner Circle membership program, events for donors and corporate sponsors, and accurately process financial transactions related to membership and donations.

Essential Functions
Working with the Development supervisor, the Member Relations Manager will be responsible for developing and executing an annual plan for membership services and stewardship. Monitor membership program budget and submit documents for payment. Create calendar of events to align with performances and other UT events. Work on annual renewal campaigns for new and renewed memberships. Steward members and donors though benefits and communications. Design benefits packages. Use PacMail for communications such as pre-sale offers, event invitations, and parking reminders. Work with the Ticket Concierge, Front of House, and UT Austin departments to ensure delivery of benefits. Work with Marketing to create collateral for print and web. Submit information for electronic newsletters and maintain membership web page and social media. Plan and distribute bi-annual Directors Update, and annual members survey. Work with the Major Gifts Officer to identify and cultivate prospects, and solicit for gifts beyond membership. Member Relations Manager will be responsible for oversight of the Texas Inner Circle Lounge. Track attendance and create promotions to drive attendance, and coordinate staffing needs. Monitor supplies, furnishings and overall appearance of the Lounge, and identify potential improvements to enhance the space and improve services. Work with Front of House to ensure quality service. Plan and execute special events for donors including Opening Night reception, Members Tour, and performance receptions. Lead planning for annual Season Preview Party. Process credit cards, deposit funds, and maintain accurate donor records in Advantage and VIP. Generate thank you letters and membership packages. Attend various staff meetings, and professional development opportunities. Interview, hire, train, and oversee student employees as assigned. Work with Directors Assistant to coordinate Directors Council meetings.
