Description As a member of USC's University Advancement staff, the Executive Director of Interdisciplinary School Development Projects will play a vital role in the University's fundraising effort as USC embarks upon its record-setting $6 billion campaign. The Executive Director reports to University Advancement's Vice President.

The incumbent will be expected to identify/cultivate/solicit major prospects and develop strategies for cultivating participation for projects identified by the Provost in conjunction with University Advancement's Vice President as campaign priorities. In addition, the incumbent will also offer guidance to gift officers, as needed, serving as a subject-matter expert on fund-raising strategies for field staff who are seeking assistance with identifying and developing strategies that address the philanthropic aspirations of donor prospects while staying focused on higher potential/high return donors.

The successful candidate for the Executive Director position must have a proven ability to meet fundraising goals. Creativity, flexibility, innovation and an entrepreneurial spirit are vital. The ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments is essential.
