|Description||University of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois is seeking an Assistant Marketing Manager.
Assistant Marketing Manager: Assists the Marketing Managers in the Journals Division in managing their individual portfolios, while also being developed to manage a set of journals independently. A particular focus will be on using digital technologies to enhance the Division's outreach efforts in the scholarly and academic markets.
Assists in the development of creative approaches to promoting the content and values of journals in the portfolio.
Assists marketing managers with the implementation of all aspects of marketing plans for assigned journals, from inception through completion, working with other staff and outside vendors as necessary.
Prepares scheduled and ad hoc reports on circulation, sales, usage, and marketing campaigns for administration and publishing partners.
Attends library and other trade shows as needed to promote journals, generate subscriptions, and grow readership.
Takes on and completes additional projects as assigned by the Journals Director and Marketing Managers.
