Columbia Business School seeks a Research Coordinator to assist Business School faculty in conducting academic research and special projects for the Paul Milstein Center for Real Estate. Current Paul Milstein Center projects include proposing policy solutions to the foreclosure and housing crisis and investigating the functioning of the mortgage and credit markets. The candidate will take an active role in qualitative and quantitative research and analysis projects from conception through publication, coordinate information management, develop teaching materials and work with all levels of faculty and staff in a collegial and exciting academic environment.
This position provides an exciting opportunity to gain academic and business research experience with a special focus on fields such as economics, finance, psychology, sociology, statistics and mathematics and would be ideal preparation for a PhD program or other graduate study. In fact, within the last four years, Research Coordinators at the Paul Milstein Center for Real Estate have left this position to attend PhD programs at Harvard, Kellogg, New York University, Stamford and Columbia University.
